A number of the breeding programs at the park have been successful leading to the birth of four takin kids, eight Père David’s deer fawns, a greater one-horned rhino calf, two southern white rhino calves, and a Masai giraffe calf.
Over 30 species of rare and endangered animals are housed at the The Wilds on 10,000 acres of reclaimed surface mining land.
