Masindi, a chimpanzee infant at Edinburgh Zoo has celebrated her second birthday

The youngest member of the chimpanzee troop at the Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland has enjoyed some special treats for her birthday. The playful infant ape turned two on February 3rd 2022.
In adorable photos shared by the zoo you can see some of the presents filled with delicious treats including straw, peanuts, sunflower seeds and chickpeas which the chimpanzee family enjoyed for her birthday.

Masindi shares her name with the nearest town to the Budongo Conservation Field Station in Uganda, where RZSS has funded vital efforts to protect chimpanzees in the Budongo forest since 2005.
Funding to support this week has been provided by player’s of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
