Bristol Zoo and Wild Place Project in the United Kingdom have shared a pair of videos of life inside the two zoos while they are closed due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

They show zookeepers at both sites as they go about their daily routine of cleaning the enclosures, feeding the animals and the rest of their duties. It also includes a tonne of great footage of animal’s enjoying play time and just being generally cute.

While the videos are incredibly entertaining they also seek to highlight that while the zoos are closed due to Covid-19 life at the zoo must go on. Keepers are working to ensure that the animal’s can continue to live healthy and happy lives.

All of this has a cost and with the zoo’s main source of income, visitors being taken away Bristol Zoological Society (the operator of Bristol Zoo and Wild Place Project) are hoping these videos will bring support for their animal care.

They are currently operating an appeal to raise funds to continue their vital work while they are closed. You can find more details of the appeal here – Bristol Zoo Appeal
