Four kangaroo island kangaroos have bounced in to Wild Life Sydney Zoo and are now ready to meet visitors.
The four kangaroos are known as Julie (6), Tabby (6), Nutmeg (4) and Kirby (3). All four girls share the same father. They travelled to Wild Life Sydney Zoo located in Sydney, Australia from Victoria in late August.
Since their arrival they have been settling in and getting to know resident kangaroos Dot and Dusk.

“They have settled in really, really well,” Shania Kelly, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo Keeper said.
“When they arrived, the sisters casually stepped out of their transport boxes and looked at the Keepers as though they just wanted some food. It was very exciting to see such a calm arrival and a really good sign that they were immediately settling into their new environment.”
Keepers report that since they arrived the group have integrated well and they all snuggle up together for bed around Dusk. One of the new arrivals Tabby is often seen eating with her new best friend Dot.
