Four meerkat pups have popped their heads out of their burrow for the first time at Chester Zoo.
The pups were born on the 21 August 2014. Since this time they have been hidden away by their parents in a burrow.
As they come out to explore the pups are starting to learn to forage and having their first tastes of different foods.
In the next few weeks keepers hope to be able to determine if they are boys or girls and then give them names.
Overtime these pups will join the mob out in the exhibit more frequently for digging, eating and sunbaking.
