Nothing says I’ve moved on like adopting a hairy scorpion or giant cockroach. That’s the message from the San Francisco Zoo as Valentine’s Day approaches.
The zoo is offering special adoption packages for some of their less friendly animals. They claim that they may help to take the sting out of a bad relationship or assist in releasing your bad love life karma.
Adoption packages span a number of levels and come with benefits ranging from certificates, photos, breakfasts with the animals and zoo passes. Some packages even come with a toy much cuddlier than your ex. One of the few things they won’t give you is a cockroach or scorpion that you can take home.
For those looking for something a little cuddlier the zoo is also offering adoption packages for their big cats, gorillas, monkeys and giraffes.
Donations to adopt an animal support the zoo’s mission of connecting people with wildlife and advancing conservation action.
*Please be aware claims they bring good karma cannot be guaranteed.
