#1 – Rescued Beluga Whales Return to the Open Ocean

SEA LIFE Trust completed the relocation of two beluga whales from an aquarium to an open ocean pen this month. In the process this awesome picture of one of them looking happy to start their new life was captured.
#2 – Smithsonian National Zoo Celebrates Giant Panda Birth

The Smithsonian National Zoo welcomed the arrival of a giant panda cub to mother Mei Xiang this month. We covered the ultrasounds before the birth, the birth itself and gave an update a few days after the birth. Meet the cub in our article below.
#3 – Adelaide Zoo Pandas Wash Their Hands and Party.

We covered Wang Wang and Funi, the giant pandas at Adelaide Zoo twice this moth. Firstly we were lucky enough to visit the zoo as they celebrated their birthday and watch as they opened their presents.
In addition Adelaide Zoo shared footage of Wang Wang enjoying a wash in his bath tub.
