He’s back. It’s been a while since we last checked in with Xiao Qi Ji the precious panda cub at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. In this week’s update he has been showing off his developing coordination and strength.

Keepers have caught his latest attempt to climb up the rockwork in his indoor habitat that is shared with mother Mei Xiang. He has been getting stronger and more coordinated while remaining one of the most adorable animals ever seen.
