Staff at the zoo have reported that the chick is currently doing well and is growing fast.
Guests may be able to view the chick through a small window at the nursery. This means the family can maintain their privacy while the chick is growing.
The Magellanic penguin is found in South America where they primarily live around the Falkland Islands.
